I'm Bert. I’m passionate about connecting with people from different cultures, spending time outdoors, and sharing the rich history and architecture of Belgium.

​I’ve been lucky to experience Belgium from many angles. I grew up near the Ypres Battlefields, studied and worked in Antwerp, Ghent, and Leuven, and have called Brussels home for more than twenty years. These places shaped me, and they allow me to guide with a sense that goes beyond the usual facts.

​Guiding is something I do alongside my day job in IT. Not because I have to, but because I genuinely enjoy it. It gives me the freedom to offer authentic tours: flexible, personal, and adapted to what guests want.
